Parish Groups

In addition to the duties carried out by the sacristan, readers, catechists, Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, cleaners, flower arrangers and many others whose tireless work goes unheralded to make up the parish there are the following groups.

Contact either a member of the group directly or our Parish Priest who will advise upon, and direct, prospective new members – enquiries are most welcome.

Society of St Vincent de Paul

Visiting sick, housebound, elderly, lonely or others in need.

Holding parties which accommodate many such persons.

Organising and distributing Christmas parcels.

Carrying out any duty which furthers the mission Christ left us with for all our neighbours.

Meetings monthly.

Choir

Providing all music for our church services, and celebrations, including Funerals and Sunday Mass.

Practices at least weekly leading up to special feasts (Christmas and Easter) otherwise at least fortnightly.

Divine Mercy

A Prayer Group which follows the precepts set out by Our Lord to Sister (now Saint) Faustina.

Meetings generally on the first Friday of each month with Mass on Divine Mercy Sunday.

Scripture Study Group

Each Wednesday a meeting is held after Evening Mass when the scriptures are read out and discussed.

Children's Liturgy
